Academic Coaching for University Excellence & Outcomes

Attendance is the single strongest behavioral predictor of success. Students who regularly attend class—regardless of raw intelligence—dramatically outperform those who do not.
Across all majors, consistent class attendance is one of the strongest predictors of student success. It is highly correlated with higher GPAs, directly linked to stronger exam performance, and closely associated with long-term retention. Attendance often serves as a reliable proxy for essential habits such as time management, discipline, and personal accountability—skills that matter far beyond a single course. In practice, most students don’t fail because the material is too difficult; they fail because they aren’t present.
